White Balance (WB) is the process of rendering the colours in the photograph so that it appears more neutral. Some times there is a blue or yellow cast and this can be removed with shifting the white balance so that original white colours looks white!
Measurement of White Balance can be done in Kelvins..
- Candle Flame 1,500 K
- Incandescent 3,000 K
- Sunrise, Sunset 3,500 K
- Midday Sun, Flash 5,500 K
- Bright Sun, Clear Sky 6,000 K
- Cloudy Sky, Shade 7,000 K
- Blue Sky 9,000 K
Taking RAW formats will help correct these issues with white balance
